CHAGA

The « king of medicinal mushrooms » is used as a mild and pleasant drink. It is the superfood that contains the most antioxidants. We harvest it during winter time, in the northern boreal Canadian forests where climate makes it richer in such powerful and beneficial molecules. Harvested with care for natural regeneration. Drink straight or add milk and/or maple syrup to your drink. Can be kept 3 years. Powerful but gentle, enjoy it every day.


GROUND CHAGA

Add 1 or 2 tsp in about 1 L of simmering water for a few minutes or longer for a better infusion. Allow it to settle, filter and drink. Infusion of ground chaga is quicker than chaga chunks. Also try it in an espresso machine mixed with some coffee! Ingredient: 100% ground chaga.


CHAGA CHUNKS

Add about 15g of chaga chunks to 1 L of simmering water for a few minutes (or longer to get more benefits). Take off the chunks and drink! Chunks, compared to ground chaga, can be more easily used for a 2nd infusion.

LABRADOR TEA

Greatly prized at the time of America’s first settlers, trappers and natives, this plant is harvested in the Canadian boreal forests of the continent. Makes a herbal tea of a unique camphorated, slightly piquant and delicate taste. It’s believed to bring relaxation, promote better sleep, and help against headaches.

Add a pinch of finger coarsely crushed leaves to a warm cup of water and cover for a few minutes. It is recommended to drink 1 or 2 cups a day maximum. Can be kept for over a year sheltered from light.

WINTERGREEN TEA

This wild plant offers a surprisingly refreshing tea. It was traditionally used in confectionaries.

Add a pinch of finger coarsely crushed wintergreen leaves to a warm cup of water and cover for a few minutes. It is recommended drink 1 or 2 cups a day maximum. Ground wintergreen is great for flavoring (pork or lamb marinades, soups, or over ice cream). Can be kept for over a year sheltered from light.

Traditionally known to have anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.

Reishi

REISHI

Used for 2000 years in Asia and known as the «mushroom of immortality». It is the most famous medicinal mushroom.

Add 5 slices to 1 L of simmering water for 30 minutes. Filter and drink often. Can be kept 3 years.

Just like Chaga mushroom, Reishi is notorious for its health benefits. It could help treating arthritis, cancer, and protect against cardiovascular diseases. Traditionally known for rising energy, fortifying organism in general, stimulating immune system, treat asthma and respiratory troubles. Taking vitamin C before usage would help get more benefits.
